E.D. Swankz is a member of upstairs records in British Columbia Canada. He also creates interesting music, it doesn’t seem to run at the breakneck speed that a lot of contemporary music does I suspect that this is because he is among other things a jazz and rock drummer, and has training in classical piano. Here is a musician that still remembers that creating music is a physical skill as well as a programming one.

Therapy Creep is a down tempo unfolding of ideas, full of subtle changes in sounds and rythmic feels. I had added it to my main playlist by the second time it played through. I was going to put this up as the Sunday “Chill” track but as I listened to it I realised I would have to look elsewhere this was a bit more interesting than chill.
