Another Sunday and time for some downtime (if only eh?). This week finds us back at Magnatune and the pick is Deja vu. It’s a rhythmically interesting and melodically a lot of fun piece. I love some of the old school sounds that flit through, the arpeggiator is having a great old time. I really like this track, it’s a tad busy but will sit nicely behind the morning coffee and toast.

Joerg Huettner founded “Saros” back in 1998 together with DJ Jan Osh as a Goa/Ambient project. After 8 months of work they already had their first live gig in front of an enthusiastic crowd in December of the same year. In 1999 first CD compilation releases followed on the German based label “Zoomia”. After Joerg relocated in 1999 he went on solo with “Saros”, focusing more and more on ambient and downbeat tracks.

The “Soundscapes” album was produced in 2002 and 2003 and Joerg already is working on new tunes to be released in the future. Do have a look at the rest of the tracks on offer. It’s good stuff and I hope Saros keep turning music out for a while to come.
