Another Sunday and it’s usually our chill slot, but I am afraid that it’s a bit uptempo today.

Logical Unity was formed over summer of 2003, when A.Thomas Tran teamed up with Ian Taylor (Doc Logic). The goal was to produce vocal trance and breaks. They are still working at it.

This is a remix of one of A.Thomas Tran’s earlier pieces but for some reason (that is totally beyond me) I really actually prefer the doof doof remixed version. Go figure?

Here are the notes for the original from 1996/97

“Let me rise above the faithless society, no longer will they conceal my pristine entity.” (Hoang Le) Hoang and I agreed to write a song together. Even though we never finished a final recording of the song, we were fortunate to be able to perform it at two functions before our friendship faded. I owe him a lot for having faith in me. Faithless society was my first complete electronic song. My own feeling behind this song was that one day I will rise above all the people who kicked me around in life and treated me like shit.

If you like this one their is a lot of other material on the website.

thatch is fascinated by guitars, music, guitars, production, silly noises, guitars and used to be a musician. Did I mention the thing about the guitars?
