I really should stay out of Jamendo and Magnatune… they are insidious time sinks. Today’s entry hails from Guadalajara in Spain and got picked because they sound like they are having way too much fun.

Kepay have been playing together for about ten years and seem to have annual line up changes. But they are a hoot. According to their website (which is in Spanish) they seem to be fairly ecumenical about style and the result is a weird mixture of different musics and styles, the only constant seems to be they want everyone to dance.

The tracks at Jamendo cover reggae, raggamuffin and rumba mixing it with hip-hop, flamenco, ska, rock… and everything in between.

If you like the first track try
Reggae Sound Party Drums Dub Style
and if that works for you head over to
www.jamendo.com/en/album/1071/ , they really are a lot of fun.

thatch is fascinated by guitars, music, guitars, production, silly noises, guitars and used to be a musician. Did I mention the thing about the guitars?
