Turn up the volume and check out Cobweb Society’s Eternal Flame. This is a pretty good no nonsense punk rock band from Canada. Best appreciated at volumes exceeding normal listening levels and associated with the odd bit of head banging to boot or just dance if you are so inclined.
Blurb lifted from their website:
Cobweb Society is an independent four piece punk/rock/metal band based in Vancouver, Canada.
Cobweb was originally formed in 2001 by Jay Savy and Carly Moew, who wrote the first self titled CD which was recorded in 2002 with Bass player Saul Hancock and Drummer Ron Greening.
The band continued to play shows at venues such as The Cobalt, Pub 340, The Marine Club in Vancouver, and The Cambie in Nanaimo. In Early 2006 they began recording an Lp of new songs with a new Drummer, Dave Affleck. Saul Hancock contributed 4 of his originals to be recorded along with a old original previously unrecorded song.
It wasn’t long after the first single was completed that they filmed a music video for ‘Nickels and Dimes’.
Cobweb Society made this Myspace on Sept 11th, 2006, and since then, has sparked interest worldwide!
Another track Nickels and Dimes is a catchy number and the video is appropriately grungy.
This band has two speeds; fast and faster. Worth a listen but mind I’m giving you a language warning for those who need it.
