I woke up this morning, and thought to myself “It’s about time for another band from Scotland”. And I found Frightened Rabbit. A wonderful indie pop band, who are rough around the edges and have a great sense of humour. They have been gigging around Glasgow since 2004.

‘Be Less Rude” is guitar driven pop, sure the vocals a fashionably less than perfect and the time seems to wander (although that could be me) but I love it. The song just oozes passion and let’s face it you cant get better than that.

Here is some twaddle from the site.

You are currently reading about Frightened Rabbit. They are a band who live in Glasgow and have done for some time. They record in bedrooms, cupboards and kitchens. Anyone can be in Frightened Rabbit. They have played some live shows in this city, but want to meet people from other cities, in order that they can come and blow into tubes when they play live. Lets keep pop music alive by getting it out of that dress and into a sweater.

“Square 9″ is also worth a listen.

thatch is fascinated by guitars, music, guitars, production, silly noises, guitars and used to be a musician. Did I mention the thing about the guitars?
