According to Wikipedia,
Mice Parade is an electronica/post-rock band from New York City led by percussionist Adam Pierce. Mice Parade’s albums were all initially released on Pierce’s record label, Bubblecore and FatCat Records. “Mice Parade” is an anagram for Pierce’s name.

Now that’s probably accurate information but it misses the most important part, it sounds amazing. I am so impressed with this band and it’s inventiveness. Lots of complex rhythms, nylon-string guitars with percussive almost flamenco strumming and an amazing journey through an interesting soundscape.

I don’t really get the “post rock” thing but I do like this.

Don’t miss listening to “The Days Before Fiction” over at www.myspace.com/miceparade22
and there is some more to listen to over at FatCat Records

is fascinated by guitars, music, guitars, production, silly noises, guitars and used to be a musician. Did I mention the thing about the guitars?
