Jangly pop guitars, great production, silly lyrics and well… what else do we need to get the week off to a great start. “To Live And Die In The Airport Lounge” is from “Ears Like Golden Bats”, the third album by My Teenage Stride .

What we have here is a a collection of guitar pop wonders that reference Phil Spector, the Jesus & Mary Chain, and The Smiths to name a few of the influences that sprang to mind on the first lesson. What I really like is that this is an American band that have taken on board the best of British indie pop, run it through their on experiences and come u with a really tough sound.

I like this band a lot and they have found a permanent home on the MP3 player. Definitely worth a listen and what a great title for a song.

is fascinated by guitars, music, guitars, production, silly noises, guitars and used to be a musician. Did I mention the thing about the guitars?
