Sometimes a performer comes along and the music, the lyrics and the voice come together to raise the hairs on your arms. For me Brett Dennen is one such. You will hear more from this 27 year old from Oakdale Californina, I suspect.

Right now he is all over the net but I think it just a matter of time before he breaks out. He has already had an impact with his songs being featured on some American dramas and used to advertise a major hotel chain.

He is articulate as evidenced by his songs, that have that wonderful folky lyricism. On the Seattle radio program clip here he is ably supported by Randy Schwartz on drums and Kevin McDormack on bass.

jools is a graphic designer who used to front a band on vocals and bass. All evidence of which have mercifully been obliterated or otherwise lost.
