An odd one this, I heard the song Apologize and didn’t register who the band was. It popped up a few more times… weird television shows and the like as I walked through the room. The thing that got me was the string arrangements and the really clean production. You can actually understand the lyrics, and they are better than the average pop song.

OneRepublic is the no. 1 band on MySpace and has been in MySpace Music’s Top Artists since summer 2006, with over 12 million total song plays and counting – remarkable for a band that is yet to release an album. Music lovers should expect great things from these fresh faces in the not-so-distant future.

So seven and a quarter million people cant be wrong. The band seems to have picked up some serious marketing clout so you will probably be hearing a lot more of them soon.

Worth a listen. (the guitars are yummy too).
