“The Seldon Plan” are a four piece band from Baltimore in USA (not really a town my head readily associates as a music town… I am sure I will get mail pointing out how wrong I am). They have been gigging steadily around the US over the past couple of years perfecting their sound.
“Going Nowhere Slow” is off the “The Collective Now” (their new CD) is solid piece of indie rock. Commercial but hey a band has to eat. I like the production, the layers of jangly guitars and the vocals and the clever harmonies and you can hear the words (how cool is that). I don’t know about you but I figure if you are going to go to all the trouble of writing words and then getting a singer to perform them, you may as well put them up in the mix where we ( the punters) can peruse them, otherwise why bother?
Have a listen to “Colored Lenses”, lots of layered pretty guitars and as good a piece of production as you will find.
Recommended.

fascinated by guitars, music, guitars, production, silly noises, guitars and used to be a musician. Did I mention the thing about the guitars?
