Sons and Daughters – Darling
By thatch • Feb 20th, 2008 • Category: Alternative, Indie, Music, Rock
Sons And Daughter are from Glasgow, a killer four piece act and if you don’t believe me head over to their MySpace site and check out “Darling“.
Adele Bethel’s vocals just make this track, and the band… WOW, they play with such intensity and urgency. I love it when this song pops up on the MP3 player. Their new album is called “The Gift” and producer, Bernard Butler (ex Suede guitarist) has managed to keep the dark intensity that seems to be this bands forte but still presented us with a brilliantly polished piece of work.
“The Bell” is my other pick for killer track off the album. Great vocals, great guitar… I’m happy. There isn’t really a lot more to be said. The music in this case will speak for itself.
Highly Recommended
