Twilight Singers

The Twilight Singers are breathtaking, as you listen to the songs over at www.myspace.com/twilightsingers you will sort of realise that this band doesn’t really serve up “jolly”, it’s more about how we are all on the same journey with the same destination.

“Bonnie Brae” is a powerful song and the live version is one where you can just revel in it’s dark honesty. Strong lyrics, strong guitar and great vocals. I would love to see Greg Dulli and Richard Thompson get together and see what happened. It probably wouldn’t be pretty. The rest of the material is just as strong.

The Twilight Singers started up as a side project by Greg Dulli (The Afghan Whigs) back in the late Nineties. The band has a loose revolving roster of musicians and all the albums are amazing.

Highly Recommended.
