Katie Dill – This Body’s Only Rental

Katie Dill is a singer/songwriter who has a nice line in gentle almost folk songs. The pick has to be “This Body’s Only Rental”.Basically just a voice and a ukelele. It ended up on a lot of peoples Best Of lists last year and when you hear it you will understand why.

all of these are pretty poor quality, first-try recordings. i just wanted to get them up so people could listen cause that’s what music’s for. so please excuse any imperfections. also everything on here is original. hey and this body’s only rental was recorded nicely by doug kirby of national eye. check those guys out sometime. along with everyone else in my top eight.
Some of these tracks have been on my MP3 player for over six months and it took me ages to figure out why I hadn’t written them up. I enjoyed them so much that I put them in the permanent playlist instead of the to write up list.
