Titus Andronicus

By • Jul 6th, 2008 • Category: Indie, Music, Punk

Titus Andronicus is a rock and roll band from New Jersey. They seem to have a movable feast of members and styles. In the beginning, there were only three people in the band. At one point, there were eleven people in the band. Currently, there are five people in the band. And style wise they run the range from blitzkrieg punk to lo-fi post-punk to psychedelic rock, and will throw in spoken-word renditions of some of “Titus Andronicus” (the Shakespearean tragedy) most dramatic lines.

I would so love to see these guy’s live. The hammered piano chords, an intense beat, and wailing punk vocals and harmonica. This is just captures you and doesn’t let go.
