Woo Hoo, I found a new Scottish band called Twin Atlantic. This is a take no prisoners, wonderfully raw and in your face band. Killer performances, not accurate but passionate (andf that wins every time).The music is riddled with staccatto guitar punctuations and they wander from post-rock to prog rock. But never fear catchy choruses and clever melodies keep them firmly accessible. Head over to www.myspace.com/twinatlanticand have a listen to “Audio and Audience”, it’s all there.

Twin Atlantic are a Glasgow band and as you listen to the tracks available at MySpace you will hear their wonderfully irreverent and chaotic attitude that just pervades their work. If you don’t believe me, have a listen to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, absolutely priceless. I hope they don’t lose the rough edges as they get produced.
