Govi

It’s been another mellow day and so I present a guitarist to cap it off. Govi was born in Germany but has experienced other cultures to follow his passion of playing and composing for the guitar.
Govi describes his compositions as “the natural and inevitable result of moving deeply into the wellsprings of my creativity. My music is a reflection of my vision of life rather than mere notes on a sheet,” he adds. The result is a deeply mystical quality that is both jubilant and pensive, music that ultimately reflects the dimensions of the human spirit in all its complexity and simplicity.
The music and musicianship have too much character to be simply written off as easy listening but the production does tend to put it into that class. Nevertheless it a relaxing, meditative, inspiring and evocative in turns. He has a vast collection of recordings that can be purchased as albums or as individual tracks.
A fan has releases a number of his compositions onto YouTube matched with cheesy images, otherwise his website provides a selection of samples from various recordings.

jools is a graphic designer who used to front a band on vocals and bass. All evidence of which have mercifully been obliterated or otherwise lost.
