Sarah Eden Davis

It would be easy enough to dismiss this former model as yet another wannabe – but there is substance in the voice, in the songwriting and in the realisation of her work.
While the vocals may have an ethereal quality to them, the performance is solid and as for the production the layers each transparent enough to reveal what lies beneath.
Growing up in a communal house in Northern California, the daughter of a musician father and performance and visual artist mother, Sarah’s love of music and movement was nurtured from her earliest days. As a teen she took the lead in musical theater productions while English literature nurtured the blossoming heart of a poetess. In solitude and nature, Sarah discovered her voice and heart song as it began to emerge at first as a kind of soul guidance and prayer.
Her songs are understated but powerfully aimed to hit between the eyes, not with aggression but with passion. Sarah Eden Davis has released her first solo project and you can hear her songs on both her own website and at her MySpace site. Just choose a track and be impressed. Recommended.

jools is
a graphic designer who used to front a band on vocals and bass. All evidence of which have mercifully been obliterated or otherwise lost.
